Candle Making Workshops & Courses

Private Workshops

Do you want to host your own candle-making workshop, perhaps for a birthday, a hen party, or other occasion?

The most common question we are asked is ‘How much is it?’. Our answer is that it depends on these sorts of things:

  • Short activities might only be 30 minutes, just a taster session. Others might be 4 hours, or all-day/evening.
  • Some groups will be 4 or 5 people, others will be between 40-50.
  • Some activities are quick and easy to set up, make, and cool down. Others are very slow, and take a lot longer. 
  • You might be providing a venue, but we might need to hire one.

Booking Information

Workshop and Course Information & Terms and Conditions 

  • We have £10m Public Liability Insurance, and we risk assess all events thoroughly. Your safety and enjoyment are our priority in all workshops.
  • Group size varies from 1 – 40. We expect everyone to be friendly and respectful towards us, and one another, and the venue.
  • Young Adults aged 8-15 are welcome, if accompanied by a participating adult who takes full supervisory responsibility.
  • If you have any special requirements or additional needs, please contact us – we want everyone to enjoy an inclusive and accessible experience.
  • Refreshments are not provided, and you are welcome to bring your drinks and snacks.
  • Crafting is messy – we provide you with an apron to wear. Wear comfortable ‘old’ clothes and shoes; avoid trailing sleeves, scarves, and hair. 
  • Places are popular, and a lot of preparation, material purchasing, and other details are organised in advance, including venue hire costs, marketing, and participant communication. If you cancel within 28 days of the event, your ticket will not be refunded. If you cancel in advance of 28 days, you will be offered to transfer your place to an alternative date/time, or receive a full refund, less a £20 administration charge.
  • In addition to the above, for 4-week Courses held at ChilliWinter Studio, if you miss a week, you will not be able to transfer your place, and a pro rata refund will not be given.
  • A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure a Private Workshop Booking
  • Special Offer / Discount / Voucher Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any Workshop or Course.
